About Service Printing
Service Printing has been in business for 90 years
Allen G. Layne owner 1996 to present.
Allen has transitioned the shop to handle computer to plate
modern prepress and faster more
programmable equipment
like the Quickmaster, Polar Cutter, and MBO Folder. He has
also
added black & white and color copies to our list
of
products available.
Charles S. Layne, Jr.(Charlie) owner 1955-1996.
During this time our shop made a major shift from primarily
letterpress printing to offset
printing purchasing a camera,
photo offset supplies, and installing a darkroom.
C. Sumpter Layne started the company in 1922
in downtown Lynchburg, Virginia.
